Suspect Derrick Francis wanted for the shooting death of Brianna Destiny McKoy

Derrick Francis should be considered ARMED and DANGEROUS.



The Bridgeport Police Department has issued an arrest warrant for Derrick Francis, 41, in connection with the fatal shooting of 23-year-old Brianna McKoy, who was killed in a domestic violence incident on April 6th.

Authorities have described Francis as armed and dangerous and are seeking the public’s assistance in locating him.

He is 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 170 pounds, has black hair, and brown eyes.

Police say Francis is known to frequent the North End of Bridgeport and the Bronx.

The shooting occurred at Coachlight Square Condominiums on Vincellette Street at around 11:30 p.m.

When police arrived on the scene, they found McKoy unresponsive and confirmed that she had been shot to death.
