Second Chinese spy balloon has been shot down off the coast of Alaska

2nd Biden Chinese spy balloon just shot down today.

On Friday, a second suspected Chinese spy balloon, approximately the size of a small car, was brought down over Alaska.

John Kirby, the Pentagon Press Secretary, confirmed that the remains of the object can be recovered as it was shot down over frozen waters.

However, Kirby noted that it is too early to identify whether the high-altitude object is affiliated with the Chinese government or a private company.

During a White House press briefing, National Security Council Spokesperson John Kirby stated that the U.S. military brought down an object flying in territorial waters over Alaska.

He confirmed that the Department of Defense had been monitoring a high-altitude object flying at an altitude of 40,000 feet that posed a potential threat to civilian flights. Out of caution and based on recommendations from the Pentagon, President Biden ordered the military to shoot down the object, which was successfully carried out and landed within U.S. territorial waters, Kirby added.

This is a developing story that will be updated when more information is available.
