Lockdown at Moscow High School lifted after false active shooter report

Authorities are conducting a “security sweep” on the campus.



The Moscow Police Department reported that around 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, they received a false report of an active shooter at Moscow High School.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers determined that there was no actual threat and confirmed that the report was false.

The Moscow School District has been placed in “Secure Mode,” which is a heightened security measure, and the public is currently not allowed to enter or leave the campus.

All students have been accounted for and no injuries have been reported.

The police are currently at Moscow High School, but no further details have been released.
