During a horrific Brooklyn home invasion, a 61-year-old man was stabbed to death and two young women who live with him were critically hurt, according to police.

A 61-year-old man was fatally stabbed during a brutal Brooklyn home invasion on Thursday morning, and two of his young housemates were critically hurt, according to authorities.

About 5:50 in the morning, two thugs stormed into an apartment above a plumbing business on 17th Avenue near 82nd Street in Bensonhurst and stabbed the three persons inside, according to police. It appears that the victims are related.

The man who had been stabbed passed away at the spot. According to officials, paramedics sent a lady who was 19 years old to Maimonides Medical Center in critical condition and a woman who was 22 years old to NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn in serious condition.

Both of the invaders were clothed in black and wore ski masks; they managed to escape and are currently being looked for.
